Who we are

The Nepali Comment Shop (“we,” “us”) is operated from Kathmandu, Nepal, under the publishing brand The Nepali Comment. Our shop URL is shop.thenepalicomment.com. By placing an order on this site, you agree to these terms.

What we sell

Original printed clothing — primarily T-shirts featuring designs created in-house. All designs are our intellectual property. We do not print on demand, do not accept user-supplied designs, and do not reprint third-party copyrighted material.

Ordering

  • You confirm you are 18+ when placing an order (or have parental consent)
  • You provide accurate billing and shipping information
  • Orders are subject to acceptance — we may cancel and refund if a Drop does not hit MOQ, if an item is mispriced due to a clear error, or if we cannot verify payment
  • Prices are in NPR (Nepali Rupees) and include VAT where applicable
  • Promotional codes are single-use unless stated otherwise

Payment

We accept eSewa, Khalti, bank transfer, manual screenshot upload, COD (selected zones), and Stripe (international). For manual-payment orders, you upload a payment screenshot which our team verifies within 12 business hours. We may decline orders where payment cannot be verified.

Intellectual property

All designs, copy, logos, and brand assets on this site are owned by The Nepali Comment Shop. You may:

  • Wear the products freely
  • Photograph yourself wearing the products and post the photos publicly
  • Tag us — we may reshare with credit

You may not:

  • Reproduce our designs on your own merchandise
  • Use our designs commercially without written permission
  • Sell, rent, or commercially distribute our products without becoming an authorised retailer

Returns, refunds, shipping

Governed by the separate Return Policy, Refund Policy, and Shipping Policy.

Acceptable use of the site

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to access non-public areas of the site
  • Use the site to send spam or attempt to compromise security
  • Scrape product data, images, or copy at scale
  • Submit fake reviews or impersonate other users

Violations may result in account termination.

Reviews and user content

If you submit a review, photo, or comment, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it on our site and social media with attribution. You retain copyright. You can ask us to remove your content at any time.

Disclaimers

We make no warranty that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free. Products are sold “as described” — please check sizing using our size guide before ordering. Slight colour variation between screen and printed garment is normal and not a defect.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, including the Electronic Commerce Act, 2081. Any dispute that cannot be resolved through good-faith discussion will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. The “last updated” date below tells you when. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
